2025 Illinois Dance Education Conference Information
Join us for the 3rd annual ILDEO Statewide dance education conference! This is an opportunity to connect, reinvigorate, and learn with peers and young people interested in dance education from around the region.
This year’s keynote speaker is Shawn Lent, and Saturday also features a student showcase performance, in addition to the many presentations by dance educators from throughout Illinois.
REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2025 conference is on a sliding scale. Registration includes all events listed including meals.
$40: Full conference rate
$10: Student showcase participant rate
$20-100: Sliding scale
We encourage you to register at the price point that is comfortable for you. The conference is heavily subsidized (particularly for students) so we appreciate any additional contributions.

Sponsored in part by SLIPPAGE Lab, the 2025 Conference will be held at Northwestern University’s Evanston Campus. Registration is in SLIPPAGE Lab, 1877 Campus Drive, Room 226, Evanston.
Conference locations include John J. Louis Hall, The Marjorie Ward Marshall Dance Center and Wirtz Center spaces.
Park for free in the Segal Visitors Center garage (1841 Campus Drive, Evanston) after 4pm on weekdays and weekends.
